Our 5 Step Commercialisation Approach

5-steps

Slipstream Commercialisation can assist in taking your IP from a concept stage to commercialisation along a commercialisation path made up of five separate yet interdependent stages. While the below are sequential, they can be done in part or together as appropriate.

The stages as recommended, along with their expected outcomes are provided as follows:

SCOPE OF INTEREST

We hold discussions with potential target parties. We then provide you with a report of key findings, including but not limited to opportunities, roadblocks and commercial options.

COMMERCIAL FEASIBILITY

We assess commercialisation options (both domestic and international), cost out alternatives, investigate any access to government assistance, make recommendations as to the most appropriate implementation option and map out and cost next steps for you.

COMMERCIAL IMPLEMENTATION

We work with you to select and implement a “go-to-market” strategy and develop an appropriate market approach, branding strategy, marketing material, distribution implementation, costings analysis, cash flow analysis and recommend a management accounting and governance structure that allows for capital raising in the future if so desired.

PROJECT MANAGEMENT AND IMPLEMENTATION OVERSIGHT

We assist you in the overall project management, implementation and oversight of selected commercial implementation options including product development, client and stakeholder management, supply management and partner management.

CAPITAL RAISING

We assist you in the development of Information Memoranda, investor sales documentation and material, investor presentations and investor meetings where appropriate.

Client Feedback

"The Slipstream Commercialisation Workshop gave us a clear picture on steps to be taken in progressing further with our product. The Workshop also opened our eyes to other potential opportunities. The Slipstream Commercialisation Workshop is vital for any inventor when developing a commercialisation plan for their product."

− Mick Ferreri, Innovator and Inventor

"As Co-Founder/Director of a new global web based infotainment channel to be launched in 2014, I am very pleased to have the opportunity to recommend the Slipstream Commercialisation Program. John and James were invaluable in both assessing and further developing our business planning and investment modelling, trade mark and patent requirements, target marketing, corporate setup and capital raising. I have no hesitation in recommending them in the highest terms."

− Anthony Camillos / GP Media Pty Ltd

"James and his team at Slipstream Commercialisation have been invaluable in helping clients of Influence Applications commercialise their IP in the technology sector. Feedback from our clients has always been extremely positive, as the Slipstream Commercialisation team take the time to understand their clients' IP, are results orientated and provide strategic and highly commercial solutions for their clients. I would highly recommend Slipstream Commercialisation to any technology company who are looking to commercialising their valuable IP."

− Max Doyle, Managing Director / Influence Applications

"I have found the jump from developing and patenting my invention, to bringing that invention into the real, physical world as a marketable product a daunting and confusing task. Having no idea where to start with this, Baxter IP referred me to James and Hunter at Slipstream Commercialisation. The thoughtful and informed opinions and answers I've been given only describe part of the service that has been provided to me. Not only have I been able to openly ask questions; questions have been asked of me that have encouraged me to critically analyse the plans I have for my invention. I have been provided with clear and concise summaries of meetings / workshops, including step by step instructions on what actions I need to take next in the commercialisation process. The experience and knowledge possessed by James and Hunter have made the commercialisation side of inventing much more enjoyable and I plan to collaborate with them on all future inventions. I would recommend Slipstream Commercialisation to anyone who is seriously working towards sharing their ideas with the world."

− Cassie Ashe / Innovator and inventor
